There was a time where I wanted to throw in the towel. The format war in video; in almost every aspect of the industry like, compression, resolution, aspect ratio, field order, frame rate and so on just became too much for me to keep up with. The hiatus was well invested into developing LUPR, our nifty little streaming media player for retail and industry, but my heart was always in film and video. I might be speaking too soon, but it does look like there is a size fire in the format war.
